PENDLE HILL :: Explore

Pendle Hil and its surrounds are idyllically beatiful; nevertheless there is an air of mystery surrounding the Hill and the nearby villages. This is not just because of the history and folklore attaching to Pendle, but there is a feeling one gets when near to it.

The Pendle Way is a very attractive long distance footpath, about 45 miles long and which takes in all the pleasant areas in a large sweeping circle around Pendle Hill. Our holiday cottage in Newchurch is only yards from the Pendle Way.

Some of the surrounding villages are exceptionally charming and are very much worth a visit.
