Annual Halloween Walk
Thousands of people traditionally walk up Pendle Hill on Halloween. It is not an organized walk and tno set time to start.

Yule - this is the winter solstice celebration of rebirth (Dec 21)
Imbolic - also known as Candlemass (Feb 2)
Ostara - this is the vernal equinox (Mar 21)
Beltaine - this is the second most important sabbat of the year and follows Walpurgis Night (Apr 30)
Litha - this is the summer solstice (Jun 21)
Lammas - also known as Lughassadh (Aug 1)
Mabon - this is the harvest festival and autumnal equinox (Sep 21)
Samhaim - Halloween - this is the most important festival of the witch's year (Oct 31)
Witches Galore - you can purchase Pendle Hill witch souvenirs and merchandise from this shop, open between 11 am and 5 pm every day save Wednesday, when it is open between 1:30 pm and 5 pm.
Pendle Hill Slideshow by Neil Whalley
